I want to thank God for His divine favour upon my life and my family. The very job that brought us to the UK was purely by God’s favour. Since I started working, God has caused me to be noticed and commended. In my workplace, we have a portal where staff can be appreciated and awarded. By God’s grace, I have received several of these awards, which even come with vouchers and they have been such a blessing to my family. At a townhall meeting, a senior manager even mentioned my name, saying I had won a competition in our Bristol office. Not long after, I also won what we call the £5k Challenge. The amazing thing is that I didn’t even know when I won it or in which particular week. That is just God’s favour! Then another opportunity came. We were asked to develop a product using AI to reduce the manual processes in one of our routines. Honestly, I didn’t take it seriously because I was so busy. But my boss encouraged me to enter. To please her, I quickly designed something and submitted it. Later, I was invited twice to defend it before a panel. Eventually, they asked me to prepare one slide to present before everyone at a townhall. At that point, I decided to check the value of the prizes — I saw things like an Apple Watch and AirPods. On the day of the presentation, I realised I was competing with senior staff and managers. But to the glory of God, I was announced as the overall winner, and I received an Apple Watch! A senior manager even said, “It looks like 2025 is your year, because within six months you have won three different competitions.” I just want to return all the glory to God, because it is not by my power, but by His divine favour. Hallelujah!
